The School's Extension Programs are coordinated by faculty and staff with active extension programs in forest stewardship, urban and urbanizing forests, wildland-urban interface, youth education, ecotourism/recreation, forest health, forest products, bioenergy, silviculture, and agroforestry.
Our aim is to expand current programs to emphasize non-traditional uses of forests, ecological functions of forests, and more issues related to urban forests and the wildland-urban interface. Much of this is achieved with resources generated through creative partnering and grants. An array of materials and workshops are available to citizens, educators, decision-makers, landowners, and land managers.
