Hunter Education

Nothing is more important than ensuring hunters return home safely from their hunting trips. Achieving that goal is one of the Missouri Department of Conservation’s top priorities. Discover Nature - Schools

If you're a Missouri educator, you have a lot of people to please. The state requires your lessons to meet Grade Level Expectations (GLEs), and parents expect you to help their kids make good grades.

Educator Workshops

If you're pursuing an education degree, have a strong professional interest in conservation or want to enrich your teaching, consider signing up for an educator workshop.

Conservation Field Trip Grants

This grant program distributes up to $700 to public, private, parochial or home-school educators interested in taking students on field trips related to fish, wildlife and natural habitats.

Outdoor Classroom Grant

This grant program distributes up to $1,000 to public, private or parochial schools interested in developing or enhancing an outdoor learning site, either on school grounds or at a nearby location.

Phys Ed Grants

This program from the Future Fisherman Foundation incorporates the benefits and rewards of fishing and/or boating into the physical education curriculum.
