Licking Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is located in Newark, Ohio and is one of the 88 local Conservation Districts in Ohio.

The Licking SWCD is a locally organized self-governing body chartered by the State. Through voluntary action and cooperation of landowners (and other stake holders), the District works to conserve land, water, forest, wildlife and other related resources for the benefit of all. The Districts Mission is to promote conservation of natural resources through local leadership, education and technical assistance.
